About the role:

We are looking for an entry-level HelpDesk Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance and update of efficient computer systems and networks to promote the sustainable use of technology in business. By becoming a Strategio Technologist, you’ll have the opportunity to join our 8-week Simulator. This is focused on professional development training led by experts. Our objective is to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and processes to ensure you are prepared to begin your career as a Strategio Technologist, as you step onsite to consult with one of our world-class clients.

Once you’ve completed our Enterprise Simulator training, you’ll embark on a 2-year engagement with one of our leading enterprise financial services clients.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Deploy workstations: Equip users with computers and essential peripherals like routers, printers, etc.
  • Verify hardware health: Ensure proper functioning of computer hardware like HDDs, mouses, keyboards, etc.
  • Tailor software setups: Install and configure software and features based on specific requirements.
  • Optimize local networks: Design and maintain local networks for peak performance.
  • Safeguard data and systems: Secure networks and computer systems against unauthorized access and breaches.
  • Empower users: Train users on operating new software and computer equipment.
  • Minimize disruption: Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance with minimal impact on user productivity.
  • Diagnose and fix tech woes: Troubleshoot problems, repair/replace parts, and debug software.
  • Document and track progress: Maintain records of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.
  • Identify equipment needs: Spot computer or network equipment shortages and place orders for replacements.
  • English level C1 required
