Strategio’s mission is to build a community of technologists, dedicated to the purpose of increasing diversity, equity and inclusion for underrepresented and underserved groups, within enterprise IT. This will be achieved by empowering and investing in diverse technology talent, in order to increase representation for all people, and creating higher performing enterprise organizations.

Backed by a $2 million seed investment from Hydrogen Group PLC, Strategio will be able to scale rapidly in order to pursue this mission and meet the demands of the industry.

Strategio sources, invests and trains STEM talent, then delivers this talent to enterprise companies. By making an investment of $5000 per technologist during paid training and $5000 for relocation, it’s possible to lower the financial barrier to entry for recent college graduates. Most traditional bootcamps charge thousands of dollars to the trainee, rather than paying them. Training is delivered by industry experts in the Strategio Simulator, where the enterprise technology environment of customers is replicated for high-demand skills including Cloud & DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Full Stack Development, Cybersecurity and Data Science.

Once qualified, Strategio Technologists join high-growth enterprise organizations on 1-2 year job placements. Technologists are free to join the customers after this initial contract is completed, meaning they secure long-term career opportunities. Strategio pays competitive salaries during this placement period, along with a list of other great benefits.

Strategio CEO and Founder, Conor Delanbanque says “it’s an exciting time with the economy rebounding after COVID-19, hiring is on the up and most companies are competing in the war for talent. A lot of enterprise companies have made statements about improving DE&I, but many haven’t figured out how to bring these strategies to life. I’m glad that we’ve found a solution by creating fresh talent for the industry at a time when it’s most needed. This investment allows us to go full gas towards our mission of increasing diversity, equity and inclusion for underrepresented and underserved groups, within enterprise IT”.
