Strategio is looking for an exceptional engineer to help redefine how software is built. This role sits at the frontier of AI and engineering. Focused on architecting and scaling the infrastructure, tooling, and systems that power AI agents across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will design production-grade agentic systems, orchestration frameworks, and observability solutions that enable teams to build, deploy, and monitor intelligent automation at scale.
About You:
You are a systems thinker, a builder, and a product-minded engineer.
You have strong technical judgment and know when to apply AI-driven solutions versus simpler, more effective approaches. You can clearly articulate trade-offs, design decisions, and the “why” behind your architecture.
You thrive in environments where problems are not fully defined. You are comfortable with experimenting, iterating, and refining, and equally capable of scaling solutions in production environments.
You are deeply curious about AI, developer workflows, and the future of engineering. You stay current with emerging technologies and actively explore how they can be applied to solve real-world problems.
As a Strategio Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Develop production-grade AI agents that eliminate manual handoffs across the SDLC
- Build intelligent automation solutions that improve developer workflows, code navigation, and documentation
- Create custom integrations and CLI tooling to give agents deep context into internal systems and codebases
- Design and implement testing strategies to ensure reliability, accuracy, and consistency of agent outputs
- Contribute to defining AI-first approaches to modern software development
- Architect and maintain infrastructure supporting agent deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management
- Develop frameworks, templates, and SDKs that accelerate agent development across teams
- Implement governance controls for agent behavior, permissions, and system access
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and metrics systems for AI agents and developer workflows
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to quantify the impact of AI-driven automation
- Implement alerting and anomaly detection systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Analyze telemetry data to identify optimization opportunities and guide decision-making
- Coach and support teams in adopting AI-assisted development practices
Core Skills
- 5–7+ years of software engineering experience building production systems
- Proven experience developing AI agent systems using LLM orchestration frameworks
- Strong foundation in system design, SDLC processes, and internal tooling development
- Advanced proficiency in Software development by using Java and/or Python, and JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and Angular (or similar)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with observability tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
- Ability to design scalable, reliable systems with strong performance considerations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate in ambiguous environments
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar paradigms
- Experience designing multi-agent systems or agent orchestration frameworks
- Background in CLI tooling or codebase analysis systems
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and workflows
- Contributions to open-source or personal AI/automation projects
- Passion for transforming software development through AI and data-driven decision making
