Junior Data Analyst

Location: McLean, VA - Onsite

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-driven Junior Data Analyst to support a high-impact data transformation initiative within a fast-paced, data-centric environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured data, solving complex problems, and contributing to large-scale system improvements.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and consistency as information moves from current systems into new environments. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll help translate data into meaningful insights while supporting testing, validation, and delivery efforts across the program.

You’re naturally curious, analytical, and thrive when working with data. You enjoy digging into datasets, identifying inconsistencies, and making sense of complex information. At the same time, you’re organized and structured; someone who can clearly document requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You take pride in your attention to detail and feel comfortable working in a collaborative, on-site environment where teamwork and accountability are key.

As a Strategio Junior Data Analyst you will:


  • Map data from current systems to target environments, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Perform data profiling and analyze differences between source and target datasets
  • Support data validation and execute testing activities based on defined test plans
  • Write clear business requirements and user stories aligned with program objectives
  • Assist in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), tracking issues and supporting resolution efforts
  • Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams to support successful data transformation



Core Skills


  • Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and validation
  • Understanding of data mapping, data profiling, and data transformation concepts
  • Ability to document business requirements, user stories, and testing scenarios clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to work on-site in McLean, VA five days per week



Nice-to-Haves:

  • Exposure to financial services or regulated data environments
  • Experience supporting data migration or transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with UAT coordination and stakeholder communication
