Strategio is supporting an enterprise client responsible for automated surveillance systems that identify potential violations of financial regulations across multiple asset classes.
You will bridge regulatory requirements and the technical implementation of surveillance logic—analyzing patterns, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring surveillance results are accurate, complete, and defensible. You will also use generative AI to accelerate analysis, documentation, code comprehension, and workflow automation while validating all outputs for regulatory accuracy.
About You:
You are an experienced Business Analyst with a strong combination of capital markets knowledge, technical analysis, and regulatory understanding. You can investigate complex datasets, interpret source code and processing pipelines, and translate technical logic into clear business documentation.
You work confidently across regulatory, business, data, and engineering teams and are comfortable leading complex analysis with limited direction. You use AI as a practical productivity tool while maintaining strong human oversight, traceability, and quality standards.
As a Strategio Lead Business Analyst you will:
- Analyze, validate, and enhance automated surveillance patterns across financial products and regulatory domains
- Translate regulatory rules and business needs into BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, and knowledge documentation
- Investigate data discrepancies, unexpected alerts, reconciliation issues, and incomplete surveillance results
- Reverse-engineer source code, data pipelines, and business logic to document how surveillance patterns operate
- Validate exception generation, scoring, aggregation, and reconciliation processes
- Partner with regulatory, business, data, and engineering teams to resolve gaps and improve surveillance coverage
- Lead UAT efforts, including scenario design, results validation, defect analysis, and stakeholder sign-off
- Use generative AI and coding assistants to accelerate analysis, documentation, code interpretation, and workflow automation
- Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, traceability, and regulatory alignment
- Present findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
