Senior QA Test Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Test Lead to play a critical role in a large-scale insurance transformation initiative. This individual will own the testing strategy and quality assurance function, ensuring successful delivery across complex modernization and migration efforts. The role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution.

About You:


You are a hands-on QA leader who enjoys creating structure where it does not yet exist. You bring extensive experience leading testing efforts within large transformation programs and are equally comfortable defining strategy as you are executing test plans and automation frameworks. You are proactive, adaptable, and capable of influencing stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on delivery and quality outcomes.

You excel in fast-paced environments, embrace ownership, and are motivated by solving complex challenges. Your expertise spans both manual and automated testing approaches, allowing you to make informed decisions that balance speed, quality, and business objectives.



As a Strategio Senior QA Test Lead you will:


  • Lead the QA function across a large-scale insurance transformation or migration program.
  • Define and execute the overall testing strategy, governance model, and quality framework.
  • Design, build, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium and modern automation tools.
  • Lead all phases of testing including planning, test design, environment setup, execution, defect management, reporting, and release validation.
  • Establish QA best practices, processes, standards, and documentation across the program.
  • Work directly within a lean delivery team, contributing hands-on to testing activities while providing leadership and guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project leadership teams.
  • Evaluate and optimize the balance between manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and communicate quality metrics and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery quality and efficiency.



Core Skills


  • 10+ years of experience leading and performing QA and testing activities within complex transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience defining testing strategy and executing testing activities.
  • Strong expertise building and scaling automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, UFT, or TestComplete.
  • Deep understanding of automated and manual testing methodologies.
  • Experience establishing testing environments, frameworks, governance processes, and QA operating models.
  • Strong defect management, reporting, and test execution experience.
