Strategio is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a high-impact enterprise data team supporting large-scale data platform initiatives in the financial services sector.

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and backend data services while leveraging Snowflake, Python, and PySpark to power modern data analytics platforms. You will play a critical role in developing high-performance data models, improving platform performance, and enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable data solutions in complex enterprise environments.

As a Strategio Senior Snowflake Data Engineer, you will:

• Designing and building scalable data pipelines and backend services using Python, PySpark, and Snowflake.
• Developing and optimizing Snowflake data models, ensuring efficient query performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implementing advanced SQL solutions and data modeling techniques including dimensional modeling and data mart architecture.
• Leveraging Snowflake Cortex AI or similar AI-enabled capabilities to support advanced analytics and data-driven insights.
• Delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions across cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Supporting or collaborating on data-driven applications and dashboards, with working knowledge of React.js and modern front-end integrations.
• Implementing data governance, security, and compliance best practices to ensure safe and reliable data delivery.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, analysts, and platform engineers to deliver scalable data products.

Core Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Snowflake
• Proven expertise in Snowflake data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and scalable data model design
• Experience working with Snowflake Cortex AI or similar AI-enabled data platform capabilities
• Strong understanding of modern data warehousing concepts including ELT/ETL, dimensional modeling, and data mart architecture
• Experience delivering end-to-end data engineering solutions in cloud environments
• Working knowledge of React.js for data-driven application support
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of distributed data processing frameworks
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance best practices
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within complex enterprise environments

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience implementing Snowflake-native features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, or Dynamic Tables
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar workflow schedulers
• Experience building data platforms that support machine learning or advanced analytics workloads
• Exposure to real-time or near-real-time data processing pipelines
• Experience supporting data visualization or analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms)
