Strategio is building a high-performing data and analytics team to support investment operations at a leading Canadian investment management firm with hundreds of billions in AUM.

We are seeking a C# Developer to join a high-impact project within our Financial Services Practice. Based in Montreal, QC. This is a hybrid role contributing to the modernization and optimization of enterprise cloud and data systems.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate is a backend-focused engineer with strong C# and Python experience, a deep understanding of cloud services (especially Azure), and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems in Agile environments.

You are comfortable communicating in both French and English, and you bring a curiosity-driven mindset to exploring new technologies and financial systems.

As a Strategio Technologist, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain data- and cloud-oriented applications, scripts, and services
• Build and support data pipelines and platform integrations using Snowflake and SQL
• Develop backend automations and APIs using Python and C#
• Deploy and manage services within Azure (Functions, Data Factory, App Services, Blob/Queue Storage)
• Contribute to platform modernization and cloud optimization initiatives
• Perform unit, integration, and automated testing with a focus on production readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data, investment, operations) in Agile settings

Core Skills

• Proficient in C# and at least one other language (Python, Java, or TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, APIs, and data engineering
• Knowledge of Snowflake (SQL, pipelines, optimization) or Power BI
• Strong SQL experience with SQL Server or similar RDBMS
• Familiarity with Azure services: Functions, Data Factory, App Services, Blob/Queue Storage
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
• Effective communication in French and English
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of Private Markets

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with web frameworks such as Angular or React
• Prior work or domain knowledge in Investment or Private Markets sectors
